Legendary opera duo Anna Netrebko (45) and Yusif Eyvazov (40) will perform in Dubai for the first time. The star couple both on stage and in private will present the most famous compositions from renowned names such as Verdi, Puccini, Giodrana and Leoncavallo September 21, 2017 at 20:00 in the new Dubai Opera building in the city center Downtown Dubai, at the foot of the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa.
The Russian-born opera diva has performed at many famous venues during her career including Carnegie Hall in New York and La Scala in Milan, where she received an 11-minute standing ovation for her role as Verdi's main heroine Giovanni d'Arco.
Eyvazov, one of the best tenors of today, became famous mainly thanks to his performance of Il Pagliacci under the direction of maestro Plácido Domingo. The native of Azerbaijan will be accompanied by compatriot Elchin Azizov, who is currently one of the soloists of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
The cultural event of the year in Dubai takes place on the occasion of the first anniversary of the opening of Dubai Opera. Pre-sale of tickets officially begins on August 28, 2017 at 12:00.
