November 14, 2017 | Dubai airline Emirates Airlines recently launched a new lounge on board double-decker Airbus A380 aircraft, inspired by luxurious yachts. During this year's
air show Dubai Airshow 2017, the company introduced a new First Class cabin design inspired by the Mercedes-Benz brand and ultra-luxury S-Class vehicle model.
In collaboration with the renowned German car manufacturer, new coupes, resp. suites, which are the first in the world to be completely closable. Premium guests on board Emirates thus enjoy perfect privacy.
Apart from First Class, Business Class also underwent redesign. Wood and new leather chairs with iconic cross stitching according to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class pattern were added. New First Class suites will gradually be introduced to the market on all Boeing 777 aircraft and later also on board Airbus A380.
The current strategy of Emirates Airlines is to maintain their position as the best and largest airline across different market segments. Strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz aims to reach existing and new customers who aspire to luxury and quality services.
