On the occasion of almost 10 years since the introduction of the first Airbus A380 aircraft into operation, Dubai-based Emirates Airlines decided on a complete program to renew Business and First Class interiors including the popular upstairs lounge. The new interior will feature sophisticated design and pleasant cream colors. Light wood paneling, leather upholstery, mirrors,
crystal and gilded trims will not be missing. The lounge layout has been completely redrawn. New dining areas, more spacious sofa and mood lighting have been added. The total capacity of the new lounge with bar has thus increased to 26 guests. The main philosophy of the new program
for Business and First Class is to enhance the premium travel experience and create an atmosphere like on a luxury yacht or cruise ship.
Emirates Airlines currently operates 96 Airbus A380 aircraft, making the company the world's largest operator of these aircraft. The company also has 46 additional A380 aircraft on order, thanks to which their fleet will expand to 142 out of a total of 437 aircraft during 2020.
