The Al Majaz Waterfront promenade is located on the shores of a natural urban lagoon in the emirate of Sharjah. Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy landscaped gardens, various street art installations and a mosque with a panorama of skyscrapers. In addition to many restaurants and refreshment stalls, you'll find a running track, outdoor sports facilities, a gallery, a children's playground with an aqua zone, mini golf, traditional Abra boats and of course a fascinating fountain.

The Al Majaz Waterfront tourist complex was specially designed to meet the needs of every visitor, especially families with children. The fountain in the Al Majaz complex is among the largest in the Middle East. The main part with a geyser reaching a height of 100 meters was built as early as the 1970s and is known as the "Sharjah Fountain". The new "Al Majaz" section stretches along an axis 220 meters long and synchronizes music, water jets with LED lighting and video projections enhanced by an impressive laser show.
