The 11 km long promenade on Palm Jumeirah island is ideal for walks with a view of the Dubai panorama.
The The Palm Boardwalk promenade stretches along the entire length of the breakwater of the legendary palm island Palm Jumeirah. In an hour and twenty minutes you can walk from one side of the island, the Rixos The Palm hotel (eastern tip) to the other side of the island, the One&Only The Palm hotel (western tip). The promenade is popular especially among runners, cyclists and enthusiastic athletes. The cafés and mobile food facilities are also interesting, which are concentrated mainly around the Atlantis The Palm hotel.
About the project
The The Palm Boardwalk promenade is the work of the state developer NAKHEEL, which is also behind the realization of the entire palm island in Dubai. The promenade with a wooden surface is to further attract the island especially among pedestrians and active tourists who are looking for interesting places to spend their free time. The promenade is 6 meters wide and is lined with palm trees along its entire length. The palm tree and palm leaves are the central theme of the entire development.
The view of the sunset is among the most interesting moments during your visit to the palm island. Coffee or a quick snack from one of the many stalls on the promenade is an integral part of your comfort.
Opening: November 2016
The southern side of the promenade is oriented towards the famous Burj Al Arab hotel and the panorama of the city center Downtown Dubai. The middle section in front of the Atlantis The Palm hotel offers a view of the endless horizon and sea. The northern side, on the other hand, is oriented towards the fascinating panorama of the tourist resort Dubai Marina and the Bluewaters island with the observation wheel Ain Dubai (opening 2018).

The route from one tip of the island to the other takes 2h 22m on foot. The same route takes about 18 minutes by car.
