The Dubai Fountain is the jewel of the multi-billion dollar new city center project called Downtown Dubai. The fountain is located directly in front of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa tower, and is thus a mandatory stop for every Dubai visitor. The fountain area comes alive in the evening with unprecedented bustle thanks to terraces with dozens of restaurants and cafés.

The Dubai Fountain is located in the middle of Burj Lake and thousands of tourists watch its show daily. The fountain is the work of the WET USA engineering studio. It is 275 meters long from one tip to the other and has an area equivalent to two football fields. The water jets are capable of creating 1000 different creations, for which 6600 waterproof WET Superlights bulbs and 25 colored spotlights serve for lighting. The fountain shows are inspired by all musical genres, from traditional Arabic to contemporary pop music. More than 22,000 gallons of water are ejected into the air at any moment of the show.

The water stream from the fountain jets can reach a height of up to 150 meters, which is approximately the height of a 45-story building!
