The Burj Khalifa tower is an iconic structure and the most popular attraction in Dubai. The world's tallest building is the centerpiece of a multi-billion dollar project to revitalize the city center known as Downtown Dubai. Let yourself be inspired by the view of the endless horizon and fascinating city panorama. Visiting the world's tallest building is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
In 2010, the building was completed. Construction took a full seven years and at the peak of work on the project, up to 12,000 workers were employed. The author of the timeless design of the tower with a unique triangular floor plan is the renowned architect Adrian Smith
from Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). He was inspired by the traditional white desert flower Hymenocallis when creating the project. No expense was spared on the building's equipment. The interior decoration consists of approximately 85 high-value art installations
that complement the otherwise minimalist interior.
The tower was christened as Burj Khalifa during the opening ceremony. The modern wonder of the world is 828 meters tall with 162 occupied and 35 service floors. The tower has three functions and each section has its own entrance and lobby. The first 36 floors form the "branded" Armani Hotel. The middle of the building consists of luxury apartments and the remaining floors are designated for companies as corporate suites. The world's highest restaurant At.Mosphere is located on the 122nd floor and the AT THE TOP observation deck on the 124th floor. In 2014, they opened the new AT THE TOP SKY observation deck on the 144th floor. At 555 meters, it is the world's highest observation deck.
