About the project
The Dubai Mall opened in 2008. The shopping center is part of a multi-billion dollar project to revitalize the city center, today known as Downtown Dubai. The developer of the entire project is the Dubai company EMAAR, which is behind the realization of such prestigious attractions as the world's tallest building Burj Khalifa and the new Dubai Opera. The center has 4 floors, 1200 shops, 120 restaurants and cafés, a cinema with 22 screens and parking for 14,000 cars. The Dubai Mall has 9 large atriums and an area comparable to 50 football fields.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo
More than 300 species of marine animals live in one of the largest aquariums in the world. Visitors have the opportunity to walk through a transparent panoramic tunnel and see sharks and rays up close.
