While the complete descent of these gorges by canyoning offers huge adventure, the hiking version is more accessible to a larger number of people. However, here, as is often the case in Mauritius, the trip does not use marked or maintained paths and therefore it will often be necessary to proceed between blocks, cross rivers and descend hills using guava trees.
However, this path does not represent an insurmountable obstacle and the supervision provided by special monitors will allow you to carry out this trip in the best safety conditions.
You will discover about ten waterfalls with a height of 10 to 55 m, in a wild and forest environment. During this trip, the pace is never extreme and the rhythm is adapted to the weakest, but it is recommended not to underestimate the duration of this "Full day" trip.
The beauty of the place and the possibility of swimming in numerous lakes at the foot of the waterfalls will reward your effort.
