Downtown Dubai

Dubai | 5
A development of epic proportions consists of dozens of buildings, crowned by Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest tower.
"The Center Of Now" Downtown Dubai is considered the most exclusive square kilometer in the world. The flagship project of Dubai developer EMAAR is the true heart of the city. The world's tallest building, the largest shopping center on the planet, Burj Lake, the dancing fountain, Dubai Opera, beautiful promenades and the main boulevard with dozens of luxury hotels, that's just a fraction of what this modern "Center of Today" offers.

About the project

Downtown Dubai is so far the largest project of Dubai developer EMAAR, which stands behind the largest real estate achievements of today. The complex worth over 22 billion USD began construction in 2005. Today, Dubai's new city center is home to more than 100,000 residents.

The area is divided into eleven zones with multiple attractions, monuments and iconic buildings. Most skyscrapers are built in a neoclassical style with distinctive Art Deco elements. The panorama of surrounding buildings with limestone and granite cladding is thus in pleasant contrast to the ultra-modern appearance of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa tower.
